Moss, ivy, grass… these are all plants that we can well imagine. Reseda is also a plant species, but most people probably do not have an idea of what these plants look like. They are green, like most plants, belong to the Cruciferous family, often have a pleasant fragrance and RAL colour 6011 actually received its name from it: “Reseda green”. The shade consists of a rather pale, light green which is clearly different from the related Grass green. Its best-known use is recorded in the DIN standard 1844. Most industrial machines are painted in this shade of green on standard delivery, so the colour is extremely widespread, especially in industry.
