New lighting system for canopies

WSM, together with the engineering office WSH and the Technical University of Köln, is developing an innovative lighting system for all canopies with trapezoidal sheet metal roofs.

The lighting system called “InLight” convinces with a multitude of constructive ideas: for example the consequently downward directed light distribution without scattering loss and a glassless construction with a robust, impact-resistant scattering foil made of plastic, which at the same time protects the illuminants.

The space-saving design allows the luminaire to be integrated into the trapezoidal sheet metal.

The space-saving design allows seamless integration into the roof beads without protrusion. The LEDs (power consumption only 37-45 W) provide a pleasant light (color temperature about 4,000 Kelvin), which at the same time has a calming effect. The lamp has an operating life of at least 40,000 hours and is easily replaceable.

The power supply is located in one of the rear posts under an inspection opening at working height. From then on, the power is supplied with only 24 volts of operating voltage, safe and protected by posts and roof frame.

The InLight always ensures optimum lighting conditions and thus safety. An optional motion detector fades down the brightness when needed.
