Create printable data yourself
Specifications and guidelines must be adhered to when creating print data so that it can be printed correctly later on.
#1 - file type
Send us your print file in PNG, PDF or TIFF format with transparent background and solid color for opaque screen printing.
#2 - Dimensions and distances
Safety distance
Repeating elements across several glass panes may have slight cracks due to production, which are bridged by the safety distance. In addition, the glass pane holders do not protrude into the printing area.
Bleed and print marks
Create the file without bleed allowance. The final format corresponds to the sent file format. Also, do not create print marks for bleed, fold, or cut.
Download templates as PDF
You can download our print templates with the dimensions of 1000 x 2000 mm or 1360 x 2000 mm and 30 mm safety distance here. Please note to remove the template from your print file before completion.
#3 - Resolution and quality
Resolution
The image resolution should not be lower than 300 dpi (600 dpi for very fine details).
Preferably in a lossless vector format.
#4 - Colors and fonts
Color space
Create your print file in CMYK color space. Printing is done with opaque solid color in RAL 9010. Ceramic multicolor printing on request.
Color palette
The area to be printed must be clearly recognizable as such in the file, e.g. represented as a spot color. The white or transparent background represents the glass to be printed.
Fonts
All fonts must be embedded or converted to paths for the print file. Otherwise, the print may be misrepresented.
