Generating high-quality connections. As a metalworker, experiencing Heavy Metal in all its variations.
WSM is a metal system construction enterprise, and that says everything about how important technical industrial professions are in our company! In the fitter's shop and during final assembly you create the connections that hold shelters and room systems together over many years.
Welding and grinding, drilling and sawing, cutting, bending and soldering – the techniques we use to process steel and aluminium are multifold. Whatever and however it is processed: accuracy and meticulousness are required. Because even small deviations often mean that parts no longer fit together. Our job cards, in which all work steps are recorded, help you to keep track. Finished constructions have to be sent on to the paint shop. A forklift is then used for transport. Our new employees learn to drive and operate it while learning their other skills.
In our final assembly department, the prefabricated parts are assembled and windows inserted. Wiring, lamps, insulation materials and much more are integrated before the products are finally delivered to the customer.
In-depth knowledge, including design engineering and industrial accounting, is taught in this vocational training course at the vocational school in Gummersbach-Dieringhausen.
Anyone who is physically fit, willing to pitch in and loves to work with their hands is just right for this profession and at WSM!
