Acting Head of Internal Logistics with Opportunity for Promotion (m/f/d)

Are you a natural organizer who thinks outside the box and thrives on a challenge? If so, we’re looking for you to serve as Interim Head of Internal Logistics with the opportunity for promotion (m/f/d).(m/f/d).

Your tasks

Active participation in the day-to-day operations of internal logistics, from demand planning through goods receipt and subsequent warehousing to packaging and delivery to the customer
You will be responsible for organizing, planning, managing, and monitoring the department's workflows, as well as organizing the order-picking process
In this role, you will work closely with the Purchasing, Production, and Scheduling departments
They develop logistics strategies, continuously improve existing processes, and oversee quality assurance for the department
You will implement the logistics system and are responsible for defining and ensuring compliance with standards
You ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations governing internal logistics
You keep an eye on quality, deadlines, and costs
Planning, organizing, and conducting the inventory round out your range of responsibilities
After extensive training, there may be an opportunity for advancement to a management position in the internal logistics department

Your profile

You are a certified warehouse logistics specialist, a logistics foreman, or have completed comparable training
You have already gained several years of professional experience in the field of warehouse logistics
You are passionate about tackling and developing processes, and you take on new challenges without hesitation; you are familiar with lean management
You are proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience working with ERP systems, preferably proALPHA
Your strong teamwork, organizational, communication, and motivational skills round out your profile
