SolarCover 2.0 add-on unit

The SolarCover 2.0 add-on unit combines vehicle protection and sustainable energy generation in a modern design. The base module, which accommodates two parking spaces, can be expanded with add-on units, each adding two parking spaces—ideal for row parking lots or employee parking lots. The add-on unit cannot be installed without the base unit. The frame consists of galvanized steel beams, and the roof surface is made up of 15 robust glass-glass PV modules, each 5 mm thick. With 370 Wp per module, the SolarCover 2.0 offers a cost-effective solution even for large parking areas. An integrated drainage system collects rainwater in a standard gutter at the rear end and directs it down a downspout attached to a support post. The snow load capacity of 2.5 kN/m² makes it suitable for high-altitude locations. The solar carport is certified for vertical and overhead loads in accordance with DIN EN 12600 and is structurally rated for wind load zone 2 in terrain category 2.
